Something different, the only Sun Ra solo piano album I know about, "Monorails and Satellites"

Lately I have been enjoying the solo piano playing of Matthew Shipp. He is somewhat avant-garde, but he also pulls from older stylists such as Art Tatum and Duke Ellington.
