Abu Djigo is a world musician in the truest sense of the term, based in Italy, the US, and West Africa. Born in Senegal to his Berber mother and Fulani father, he is adept at jazz, blues, and many African styles. Abu tours Europe regularly and travels periodically to Brazil and India to play with musicians there. He co-wrote several songs on the WORLD BLUES album with Deborah Barer and Gary Nelson.
