Alegre Corrêa was born on June 9, 1960 , in Passo Fundo - Rio Grande do Sul already 13 years old - as a guitarist , singer , percussionist and composer - immigrated to their " home " now is the music . Without a doubt , your " home center " is Brazil , but with doors open to all directions . In 2010 he received the most important award of their career , the GRAMMY AWARDS , as guitarist disk 75 , Joe Zawinul & The Zawinul Syndicate ( Heads Up International ) in the category " Best Contemporary Jazz Album " . Alegre Correa was also awarded first place in the Rio Grande do Sul in " Musicanto Festival " (1992 ) , and in São Paulo " FAMPOP " (1998 ), both in the category of instrumental music .
