Bálint Gyémánt is one of the most outstanding guitarists of the Hungarian jazz scene, who shows real interest in all kinds of music. He is happy to try new genres and explore new styles to improve his world of music and to inspire himself and his surrounding. He was drawn into jazz music from early on in his education parallel with his classical music studies. It is not only in Hungary that he stands out from his peers with his involvement and knowledge, in September 2007 he was the first Hungarian student to receive a scholarship to the Academy of Music in Oslo. In 2008 he received his diploma from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music as a jazz guitarist and professor of music. Different elements of his guitar playing are inspired by different genres of music.
