Banda Elastica is a propositional music group that has remained outside the mainstream margins imposed by the record industry and within an artistic landscape that does not count with institutional support. Since its germinal stages, BE walks with one foot in what might be considered "cultured" music and the other grounded in the grassroots. By means of experimentation they search for an identity that is as much their own as it is universal, with a little taste of funk.
