I was born on March 2, 1976, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I started playing drums at 13 years old, taking classes with master Percio Sapia at CLAM.
From 15, I continued studying alone. At 16, in 1992, I joined the progressive rock trio "Turtles Sharks & Beavers" with Flavio Marchesin (vocals, keyboards, bass) and Eduardo Tibira (guitar, backing vocals).
They were their own compositions, influenced by bands such as Rush, Yes, Emerson Lake & Palmer, King Crimson, Primus, among others.
In 1997, I was part of the percussion session of Scottish Link Pipe Band, an authentic Scottish bagpipe band created by piper Cristiano Bicudo. In this band we participated in the Scottish Bagpipe World Festival (believe me!) In Glasgow and took 36th place in the 4th division. That is, we were a true "success" (lol).
