She is the daughter of the entertainment organizer Göran Lundin.
Carin Lundin grew up in Växjö and studied at the Ballet Academy's Musical Programme in Gothenburg, Birkagården's Folk High School and at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm 1989-93.
