Crème Anglaise is a group put together by saxophonist John Helliwell outside of his commitments to the world renowned Supertramp. The group features Mark Hart from Supertramp and Crowded House on vocals, guitar and keyboards, internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist Mike Walker and rising star Arthur Lea on piano.
John Halliwell formed Crème Anglaise in April 2004 in order to pursue his love of jazz. In February 2005, the band, which is still active, recorded this debut album which is now being re-issued. There are 6 original tunes on the CD which also includes a special guest vocalist, the soul/gospel singer Barbara Walker from Philadelphia.
