The legendary 1970's Latin rock band that made its glorious return to the stage at the 2013 Voices of Latin Rock were the hit of the show. Dakila lives on and you can't miss this Latin Groove band that took the city and their fans to a new high. When we think about Latin Rock, we usually imagine Hispanic or South American artists. However, San Francisco is a diverse city that it is not surprising to find a group that performs music other than their own. For the group Dakila, mixing the latin beat with Filipino flair worked well for them.

I am David Bustamante, one of the original members of "Dakila". After many years of requests by different organizations and fans to bring the music of "Dakila" back, I respectfully felt compelled to bring the band back together.
