Ewa Bem (born on 23 February 1951 in Warsaw) is a vocalist and author of lyrics, graduate of the Stefan Batory Secondary School in Warsaw.
She made her debut in 1969 in the youth blues band Stodoła. In 1970 she started her solo career as a vocalist in Zbigniew Seifert Quartet. Then, she became a vocalist of the band Bemibek which was created with Aleksander Bem and Andrzej Ibek (soon the name was changed into Bemibem). The band performed in 1971 at The International Jazz Jamboree Festival in Warsaw.
Ewa Bem gave concerts in Poland and abroad and received many awards at prestigious competitions and festivals, e.g.: in 1971 the Jazz nad Odrą Prize, at the Song Contest Opole and the prize for jazz vocalists in Lublin.
