FABIÁN ARAYA picture
Fabián Araya was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1986. He started playing music professionally at the age of fourteen. One year later he made his first presentation at the Colón Theatre. Studying saxophone with Pablo Ledesma and flute with Alejandro Santos, he opened his way through the jazz world. In 2006, made a presentation at the Jazz Festival Miramar. Since then, made presentations with important musicians like Agustín Pereyra Lucena, Hilliard Green (USA), George Haslam (England) and Yann Tiersen (France) between others, all around Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil with several presentations on radio and tv.

He studied composition and conducting at the National University Of Art (Buenos Aires). In the year 2012, he worked as an arranger and conductor for the producer Ricardo Astrada of the faena hotel.
