When you grow up in a household where such luminaries as Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Woody Herman are regular visitors, it is virtually inevitable that in some way music will play a major role in your life.
Such is the case with guitarist, Garry Goin. Born in Cleveland, OH, Garry’s father was a professional singer until he chose raising a family over a life on the road. With a large family in close proximity, Goin had wide-ranging musical influences throughout his early life. His grandmother listened to Gospel, his mother preferred Rock ‘n Roll, his father fancied Jazz and Blues and his uncle’s music of choice was Country.
