Gianni Lenoci (1963 – 30 September 2019) was an Italian jazz pianist and composer.
Pianist, keyboardist, composer, teacher Gianni Lenoci was born in Monopoli (Italy), June 6, 1963. After graduating from Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, Lenoci studied improvised music with Mal Waldron and Paul Bley. Since 1990, Lenoci teaches Performance and Composition in Jazz and Contemporary Music at Nino Rota Conservatory in his home town. He has played extensively both in solo and with his own groups as well as with a wide range of musicians, including Massimo Urbani, Steve Lacy, Joëlle Léandre, Steve Grossman, Harold Land, Bob Mover, Enrico Rava, Glenn Ferris, Eugenio Colombo, Don Moye, Han Bennink, Antonello Salis, Carlo Actis Dato, David Gross, Stephen Heckel, Paul Lovens, Sakis Papadimitriou, Georgia Sylleou, Jean-Jacques Avenel, John Betsch and Beñat Achiary.
