Giovanni Mazzarino was born in Messina May 26, 1965. And 'one of the best Italian pianists, he has collaborated and recorded with musicians such as: Enzo Randisi, Mimmo Cafiero, Gianni Basso, Franco Cerri, Massimo Urbani, Flavio Boltro, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Francesco Cafiso, Mark Murphy, Steve Swallow, Tom Harrell, Randy Brecker, Steve Grossman, Bob Mintzer, Lester Bowie, Jimmy Cobb, Kurt Rosenwinkel ... and many more. In 2002 it was ranked 1st place BEST NEW ITALIAN TALENT for the Referendum Top Jazz organized by the magazine Musica Jazz.
