Harri Kuusijärvi Koutus redefines accordion music. In addition to the eponymous accordionist, the group is formed by Veikki Virkajärvi on the electric guitar and Tatu Rönkkö on the drums and percussion.
Formed by acknowledged and versatile young generation musicians, this Finnish group creates a distinctive sound barrier that draws on various contemporary influences, coming together as an irresistible form of original and pure instrumental music beyond genre. With the debut album inspired by the arctic landscape of Koutus, the band delivers sounds from serene and minimalistic atmospheres to rich and colourful textures, completed with the unique combination of accordion, electric guitar and drums.
