After having released its first album at the head of the LG Jazz Collective band and under the Igloo Records label, the guitarist Guillaume Vierset is now introducing the “Harvest Group”, a brand-new quintet project whose first album will be released in June 2015 under the AZ Productions label. The name of the group is reminiscent of the title of NeilYoung’s emblematic album released in the 1970s. It is indeed his strong interest for the music of great song writers as Nick Drake, Neil Yong, Bob Dylan, or Elliot Smith which inspired Guillaume in the writing of this new opus through which he expresses a new side of his music personality. After the energy and the fiery rhythms of modern Jazz he appreciates so much, Guillaume is revealing here a more intimate writing, a sweet and fragile print of the nostalgia and melancholy proper to the music of those “songwriters”.
