The outstanding Senegalese guitarist and composer, Herve Samb, has performed in almost every part of the world with artsists like Jimmy Cliff, David Murray, Pharoah Sanders, Meshell Ndegeocello, Oumou Sangare, Amadou & Mariam, Jacques Schwarz-Bart, The Syndicate, World Saxophone Quartet, Linley Marthe and many more. Samb has recorded on more than hundred albums, along with Pat Metheny, Cheick Tidiane Seick, Toure Kounda, Paco Sery, Lionel Loueke and Hamid Drake, to name some. Samb was always determined to develop his own music as a force of Panafrican expression and identity. Completely self-taught, Samb perfected his awareness of harmony and his original technique through collaborations and urban jam sessions. Samb has three own projects: SAMB 4 TET Featuring Reggie Washington, Olivier Temime and Chander Saordje, the quartet will be album releasing in September.
