Imox Jazz is a Guatemalan ensemble whose sound is the result of the influence and integration of hard bop, Latin/American music, Flamenco, and traditional Guatemalan music. The name Imox comes from the Mayan culture and refers to a term that represents spontaneity, also interpreted as "the will of man to create".
