Critically acclaimed vocalist, songwriter, educator, Jackie Allen releases her 10th CD, My favorite Color, in early 2014. This will be her first studio album in 7 years and features her long-time band and is produced by her bassist husband, Hans Sturm. Her last release, Starry Night (‘09) was recorded live with chamber orchestra and features star-themed songs penned by arrangers who have written for such legends and noted artists as Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Doc Severinsen, and Bobby McFerrin.
Described as “utterly distinctive and even innovative” by Billboard Magazine, Jackie is renown for her transcendent interpretations.
