Jirka Hala born in Prague, plays flutes and saxes. He is a leader of some jazz funk formation Blues Wave and little jazzrock big band Savle Mece. Music of Jirka Hala Jazz Project - is influenced by contemporary jazz scene of NEW ORLEANS, where Jirka Hala recorded his cd MAKE YOU WANNA HALA with top musicians from BIG EASY. It was released by ARTA in 2009.
