Panamanian/(Born) / Puerto Rican Trumpeter Jose Raul "Lips” Morales started quite young playing several instruments by age 8 but decided to take his fathers footsteps and become a trumpeter,he got his first solid musical and recording experience from Orquesta Agueybana and Guarionex founded by his father Israel “Isy” Morales former original Trumpeter and arranger with the legendary “Conjunto Internacional de Quique Lucca(Sonora Poncena) Orq.Guarionex worked the New York local scene.
He credits his father for his music and trumpet lessons.
