Jazz music community with review and forums
Born in Santander, he started playing transverse flute in the conservatory of Santander Jesús de Monasterio at the age of 10. Here, he studied flute with Jaime Salas and composition with Emilio Otero.
During his last years in the conservatory, he focuses on jazz and contemporary composition, and, little after, he moved to Barcelona to study a Jazz and Modern Music degree in the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
He made his higher education between Barcelona and the Kask-Koninklijk Conservatorium of Ghent (Belgium), with teachers as Bart Defoort, Eladio Reinón, Gary Willis, Agustí Fernández, Gorka Benítez, or Julia Gallego. Furthermore, he received classes and masterclasses from musicians such as Terrell Stafford, Benny Green, David Liebman, Pat Metheny, or Jaime Martín.
He has collaborated with different types of musicians and bands, from jazz, to free improvisation, flamenco, contemporary music, folk, or classical music. Some of them are the violinist and singer Iva
