Kadi Vija is a vocal instrumentalist. Her uncommon singing approach is influenced by instrumental improvised music, flowing thoughts and abstractness. Kadi’s music is full of observations from the people, everyday life and sounds. Her big ambition is to explore what makes us unique in the world of similarity. As a singer and as a human.
Kadi Vija (b. 1985) was born in Estonia. Vija began her music studies in Põlva Music School at the age of 6, majoring in classical violin. At the same time, she joined the E STuudio girl chorus, with whom she toured in Europe and in the United States, occasionally performing also as a soloist.
Kadi Vija moved to Finland in 2005. After finishing her music studies at the Palmgren Conservatory in Pori, she finished her Bachelor in Music at Metropolia University of Applied Studies in Helsinki. Currently this hard-working singer is studying towards her Master’s degree in
