Keith Nichols(13 February 1945 Ilford, Essex, UK – 21 January 2021 London, UK) was an English jazz multi-instrumentalist and arranger, a player of the piano, trombone, reeds, and accordion. "Ragtime authority with a particular tendresse for 1920s jazz" (Jazz Rough Guide 2000).

British instrumentalist and arranger who was a fixture in the trad jazz community in England and the United States.
One of the top British classic jazz pianists of the last several decades, Keith Nichols, who also played trombone and (occasionally) vibes, led his first jazz band while in high school. He joined Mike Daniels' combo in 1964 (with whom he made his recording debut), put together the first of his many professional groups, and between 1967 and 1968 recorded with Dick Sudhalter's Anglo-American Alliance.
