Born in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Reichert began his study of classical piano at the age of 5 and guitar at the age of 12. After attending Berklee College of Music, Reichert returned to Milwaukee to complete his studies in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Reichert holds a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from DePaul University and was a 2022 Luminarts Cultural Foundation Jazz Improvisation Fellow.
Reichert is a seasoned performer, having shared the stage alongside many notable jazz artists in the Midwest including Russ Johnson, Geof Bradfield, Johannes Wallmann, Alyssa Allgood, Clark Sommers, Ethan Philion, Christy Bennett, Artie Black, Tony Barba, and Devin Drobka. Reichert’s second studio album as a leader, Deep Breath, was released on April 21, 2023, with Shifting Paradigm Records.
