One of the most sought-after jazz double bassists in Poland. He switches between different guises and stylistics – from jazz in its more accessible form, through avant-garde, to Polish folk music. Thanks to the lightness, easiness and musical erudition, Wójciński is able to work with different music genres and is an extraordinary musician. Born in 1983.
Wojciński became one of the most recognizable Polish jazz musicians thanks to his regular concerts in the club Pardon, To Tu in Warsaw, where he performed with bands such as Hera or Charles Gayle Trio, in a duo with the trumpeter Wojciech Jachna, and solo.
In 2014 Wójciński’s solo album, The Soul, was released. He played the double bass, the piano, the guitar, the drums and he sang. In an interview for 'Polska The Times' he explained:
The music on this record is a summary of a certain stage in my life.
