Real Name: Margarita Reymundo-Jurado Profile: Sister of Alex Reymundo and wife of Ron White.
Born in Acapulco, Mexico and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, singer/songwriter Margo Rey is an artist whose diverse talents span the gamut from musical theatre and acting in films, to numerous voiceovers and hit singles on the jazz, dance and pop charts. She has had two #1 dance tracks, an original Christmas song, and numerous adult contemporary pop hits on the national charts.
Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, Margo’s music caught the attention of five-time Grammy-nominated record producer, Michael Blakey, the president of Organica Music Group that he formed together with comedian Ron White. Margo Rey became the label’s first signing.
In the end of 2011 Rey’s song “Let The Rain”, which she co-wrote with John Oates, remained on the charts for 21 weeks. The track received the title of “Hot Shot Debut” on the Billboard
