He started classical training when he was nine and very soon after that discovered his love for guitar. Guitar greatly influenced the development of his violin expression. During the years 1993/94 Marko started his professional career in music. In those two years that he spent in South Africa he had the opportunity to join as a guitarist in a very popular band of "Kreesan". Back home in Šibenik he joined an Irish folk group “Secret Life” and recorded an instrumental song called "Trlis" which became an immediate hit on the local radio stations and shortly after he signed himself as an author of music and words for "Green Song" which he recorded with Sean Cannon - The Dubliners. In ’99 he received an invitation from croatian pop star "Gibonni" to work on the album "Judi, zviri i beštimje".
