Lucian Ban, Mat Maneri & Albrecht Maurer are on the spot of the international Jazz/Improv scene for many years. They work in different ensembles and share their preferences to look for new possibilities of creating music with joyful interaction. The three musicians have first collaborated in the award winning third stream extravaganza Enesco Re-Imagined, their CD release appeared on many critics “Best of 2010” lists and featured a stunning group of musicians – Badal Roy, Tony Malaby, Ralph Alessi, John Hebert, Gerald Cleaver among others - in a daring re-imagining of the works of famed romanian violin virtuoso George Enescu. „Their music is decorated with terms like «sound fractals, microtonals, jazz musings, nyc downtown skronk, 20th century european classical or sounds of repose».
