Mein einziger Freund is interested in dissolving the arbitrary borders between the interpretation of composition, the language of improvisation formerly confined to jazz, swing, blues and its many many historical variations, groove that is idiomatic to dance, folk forms from throughout the world, and simply the pure world of sound we live in every day. Its a lovely place to spend one’s time.
