Instrumental jazz ensemble "Melodia" was formed by Georgiy Garanyan and Владимир Чижик from members of disbanded Concert jazz orchestra of Soviet radio and Central TV (leader Vadim Lyudvikovsky) in 1973. Conductors: 1973-1982 & 2006-2010 - Georgiy Garanyan (Георгий Гаранян) 1982-1991 - Boris Frumkin (Борис Фрумкин)
