Mirko Guerrini was born in Florence, Italy in 1973. After the diploma in classical saxophone he begun to study jazz with important teachers such as Dave Liebman, Maurizio Giammarco, Pietro Tonolo, and many others. Now he leads three bands under his name: Cirko Guerrini, Triodegradabile, and an orchestra, The Collettivo Musicisti Avanzati. As a sideman he plays in the Visionari band (the Stefano Bollani's quintet), the Jacopo Martini quartet, and the Giorgio Ferrera quartet. He has published 5 cd's under his name and the latest for the important label Emarcy-Universal. He has played in the last 3 Stefano Bollani's Carioca Tours 2008- 2009 joining a brazilian band in 40 concerts, two of which with the great Caetano Veloso.
