UK jazz guitarist Neil C Young is a gifted guitarist who is establishing his unique talent internationally.
Incorporating aspects of bands led by John Scofield, Keith Jarrett, George Benson and Pat Metheny, his music is ‘full of soul and energy’ and, ‘the arrangements are beautiful’, writes Eric Elias from the US magazine “Just Jazz Guitar Magazine”.
The Neil C. Young Trio use a raw combination of expression and technique across a variety of influences and styles from Be-bop to bossa with a hint of their Rock roots. With the solo Jazz Guitar at its heart, their music is ‘harmonically sophisticated’ said Bill Milkowski (writer of the biography of Jaco Pastorius) in his 2011 review of the last album ‘Where’s yours?’
