Nell Greco is an Australian jazz singer based in London. She’s one half of Akimbo, a duo with Pedro Velasco that playfully explores songs both original and borrowed, and how to reimagine them with fresh interpretations. She also leads Nell & the Hot Mess Muggers, a manouche-inspired ensemble that was originally created to move swing dancers, and that soon discovered a penchant for chanson Française and swing beyond the realms of a dance floor. Since its first incarnation in 2015, the quartet has played across Europe and the UK and recorded one album together, Sous le Ciel de Paris.
Nell has studied under the tutelage of some of the UK’s leading jazz vocalists including Kate Mullins, Emilia Martensson, and Brigitte Beraha.
