Neyko Bodurov was born in 1982 and raised on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, the city of Varna. He received his education in Germany and the Netherlands. The most intence musical experince Neyko optained from his work as a scholarship student at Ensemble Modern Frankfurt Foundation „NRW“. He also took part in varieties projects with Ensemble Modern Frankfurt, Gstaad Festival Orchester, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Bach Solisten, Klang Forum Vienna, the European Jazz Orchestra. In 2007 Neyko Bodurov received the European Award “Pro Europa” of European Foundation for Culture. In 2011 Neyko joined the jazz department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
In 2012 Neyko Bodurov came back in his hometown participating as a collaborator and a member in projects such as the Nu Jazz formation JazzProfilactika and the Varna Swing Orchestra Project. In 2015 he started producing the initiative Bandwagon (involving local and guest musicians) and later set his own music project
