Uli Beckerhoff (artistic director of the "Jazzahead" trade fair in Bremen and jazz professor in Essen) drew our attention to this talented singer at Jazzahead: "There is a new voice in Germany with his own and original timbre, great intonation and phrasing – you just got to listen to him!" To tell the truth, Germany does not actually have a surplus of male jazz singers. Roger Cicero, Michael Schiefel and a few others have found an audience. It was that much more pleasant news that there really is an extraordinary voice with a very original expression. And in addition, a composer with the gift for composing simply beautiful, catchy songs. As the icing on the cake, Nils-Christopher writes spiffy, romantic, tongue-in-cheek texts.
