Paragon s debut release, Kin, is a full-length album featuring all original compositions from each member of the trio. The 8 tracks range from swinging post-bop to modern mixed-meter to meditative and free. The trio emphasizes the unique sound of a chordless trio by utilizing creative orchestrations and writing pieces that weave back and forth between composition and improvisation. This record is largely inspired by our relationship with New York City and what it means to be a young jazz musician here.
