Born in Buenos Aires in 1978, started studying classical guitar at the age of 10 with Irma Constanzo. He started playing jazz at the age of 15 at the I.T.M.C. (instituto tecnológico de musica contemporanrea), where he studied with Pino Marrone,Carlos Campos, Guillermo Arrom and arranger Marcelo Braga.
At the age of 18 he started studying guitar with Pablo Bobrowicky and composition with Juan Carlos Cirigliano, during this years he started playing in jazz clubs and concert halls around Buenos Aires.
In 1999 he traveled to New York for 6 months where he studied with Peter Bernstein, Steve Cardenas, Bruce Barth, Sam Newsome And Barry Harris. Patricio went back to Buenos Aires where he started studying with the guitar player Armando Alonso and composition with Manolo Juarez, during that year made his own trio, with Hernan Rodriguez on drums and Jeronimo Carmona on Double bass, performing at the Lomas de Zamora Jazz
