Jazz vocalist, Patrick Barnitt, makes his Vitello’s debut on May, 21st with the Paul McDonald Big Band and the release of his new Big Band record, Sway. The vocals were recorded at the legendary Capitol Studios on Sinatra’s mic. This is the follow up to his debut album, When The Time is Right, produced by the accompliced, songwriter and keyboardist, Howlett (Smitty)Smith. The song of the same title appeared on Syfy channel’s, The Chronicle, and the indie film, The Waiters, which he also co-starred in. He originated the role of the crooner in the popular dance musical, Shag With a Twist at LATC. A Los Angeles based vocalist, his new record includes new renditions of music by The Doors, Chicago, and some classic Sinatra tunes and a re-imagining of the Dean Martin standard, Sway. The new album also features an original composition, ACL Blues co-written with Paul McDonald.
