They were first influenced by Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington, and as young as 13, toured the U.K., playing traditional jazz and swing music. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, they were mentored by saxophonist, Texas-native Paul Carr, before attending Juilliard in New York City, where they currently reside.
Peter and Will Anderson’s expertise has made them saxophonists of choice for Wynton Marsalis, Jimmy Heath, the Village Vanguard Orchestra, Wycliffe Gordon, Michael Feinstein and the New York City Ballet.
