Pianist Rebecca Nash is a bright light amongst the jazz musicians of her generation. Active as a performer, arranger, composer and educator, Rebecca leads her own originals project, ATLAS which features Nick Malcolm (trumpet), Tom Seminar Ford (guitar), Chris Mapp (bass), Matt Fisher (drums) and Sara Colman on vocals. The band have just released their debut album Peaceful King on Whirlwind Records.
Rebecca is also involved in various other ensembles, notably saxophonist Dee Byrne’s ENTROPI, who have currently just completed their second album tour of Moment Frozen which can be found on Whirlwind Recordings.
Other projects include Beats and Pieces trumpeter Nick Walters’ PARADOX ENSEMBLE, who have just recently released their debut album Awakening on 22a Records, singer SARA COLMAN’S latest project with Percy Pursglove, Jonathan Silk, Ben Markland and Steve Banks plus strings and special guests, as well as folk fusion ensemble FLEKD.
