Grammy Award-winning pianist and composer Ruslan Sirota hails from Uman, Ukraine. In 1990, Ruslan moved to Israel where he attended the Bat-Yam Music Conservatory, winning numerous piano and jazz competitions. He also performed all over the country with his jazz-fusion group Confusion. In 1998, Confusion released Customade, which remains one of the most popular jazz-fusion albums in Israel. In 2000, Ruslan began attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA on a full tuition scholarship. And in 2004, he joined The Stanley Clarke Band and moved to Los Angeles. In 2001, on behalf of the entire band, Ruslan accepted the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album for the band’s self-titled album. In addition to his work with Clark, Ruslan continues to tour, perform and record with major artists such as Chick Corea, Marcus Miller, Ne-Yo, Brian McKnight and Seal.
