Originally formed during the mid-’90s by veteran saxophonists and bandleaders Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman and Michael Brecker, Saxophone Summit offered a timely, approachable update of the post-John Coltrane energy-sax axis. Joined by Greg Osby after Brecker's untimely passing, the group benefits from an infusion of energy and fresh perspective.
