Saxophonist Shauli Einav was described as a "blowing bundle of virtuosity" (Jazz Inside Magazine NYC) and his latest album Opus One (Plus Loin Music) was reviewed as a "Smartly played, swinging and evocative jazz album” (DownBeat Magazine).
Shauli Einav recently relocated to Paris after 7 fruitful years in the vibrant jazz scene of NYC, there he played with some of today’s leading jazz figures as: Aaron Goldberg, Avishai Cohen, Don Friedman, Eliot Zigmund, Dan Tepfer, Omer Avital, Johnathan Blake, Joseph Lepore, Shai Maestro, Walt Weiskopf, Frank Gambale, Dave Liebman, Gilad Hekselman, Andy Hunter, Quincy Davies, Marshall Gilkes among many others.
The vast experience in NYC’s clubs lead to the creation of his Plus Loin Music debut album “Opus One” which was praised by jazz critics as ”fresh and original voice" (JazzTimes) "with his expressive horn, imaginative pen, Einav is already setting himself apart" (All About Jazz NY).
