STEFFEN BRIX is a Danish guitarist in the beautiful jazz/fusion/blues/rock tradition. His trademark is fast and melodic single-line runs and rich rythmic chordal voicings in a personal style reminiscent of Mike Stern, Robben Ford, Allan Holdsworth and Pat Metheny. By many guitar enthusiasts Steffen is considered one of the very best this country has to offer - but is yet to receive international recognition on a larger scale - despite his impressive resumé. Because of this Steffen can still be spotted playing in smaller clubs around Denmark - mostly in trio and quartet formats with other world-class performers.
