Stone Tiger was a jazz/fusion band consisting of Percy Jones on bass, Bill Frisell on guitar, and Mike Clark on drums (later Dougie Bowne replaced Clark). Stone Tiger played around the New York area between 1981 and 1984, but never signed to a recording label. However, a few live recordings and demos circulate among traders and on the internet.
