Sugarwork are saxophonist Phil Bancroft, guitarist Graeme Stephen, drummer Stu Brown and keyboard player Paul Harrison. They make music that goes against tradition, but gives room for improvisation to flourish that’s both daring and sensitive. Their sound encompasses a vast landscape from post-rock riffs, dark electronica, industrial looping, psychedelic exploration, and melodic European jazz.
