Tamy has had an illustrious singing career that began in 2002 in Vitoria, Brazil. She released her first album in 2006 and as a result of the success of this release, she toured throughout Europe, Japan, Angola and other parts of the world.
The followed CD “Tamy” came out in 2008 and one of the tracks became wildly popular after appearing as the theme song from the movie “Living Life”. Tamy has appeared on the prestigious “Music Prize Brazil” awards program and has collaborated with many top names in the Brazilian music world.
“Caieira” is Tamy’s third album and was recorded in Rio de Janeiro with notable local artist. One of the tracks also appeared in the Brazilian popular film “A Onda da Vida” and another song “Mae Africa” includes the Congolese musician Lokua Kanza.
