West-Coast born and raised, Tartaglia began his professional career in the Los Angeles area as John Andrews, with the "Tartaglia" dropped on the advise of early associates as "too hard to remember." His past efforts include, among other things, music for many of the hits of the Buckinghams, Tiny Tim, John Stewart and Al Martino.
