The Cloggz draw from tango, klezmer, jazz, circus, classical and latin American music, they perform cinematic re-imaginings of material from a wide range of composers including Brad Melhdau, Tom Waits, Ennio Morricone and John Williams, as well as original compositions Intricate ensemble playing dovetails with deft improvisation, and the show includes elements of circus, and visual projections. Formed two years ago by pianist Mark Edwards, (Katie Melua, Roddy Frame, Dave Stewart, Terry Callier, Incognito, Carleen Anderson) the band features some of the UK's leading jazz musicians; several of them multi instrumentalists, playing a wide array of instruments. The band were recently featured on BBC R3's 'Jazz Line Up', and Mark Edwards solo album "In Deep' was Jamie Cullum's pick of the month on BBC's 'JazzHouse.'
